Are they QBCC licensed?- Oversee and direct all work to ensure the work is of a high standard and free of defects. Complies with the correct plans and specifications and building codes.

Are they insured? Do they have work cover, public liability, and
property insurance?

Have safety precautions in place to abide with WHS
requirements?

Provide a contract to be signed with scope of works?

Do they have a private certified assessor?

Organise all forms required, building approvals necessary and
QBCC home warranty insurance?

Obtain an engineering certificate 12 if applicable and provide a
form 21 to council submitted on your behalf?

Are they local to the area and have a local office?

Use licensed and insured contractors?

Do they support the local community – sponsorships, purchase
from local vendors and suppliers?

Have an understand of the building code and have a certificate IV
in building and construction?

Have a good reputation in the area, Facebook and Google

Do they have client testimonials/ Google reviews? If so how many
5-star Google reviews do they have?

Do they have local houses you can drive past to vie jobs
completed?

Do they have social media: Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube?

Is administration easily contactable?

Offer free detailed quotes and professional roof report?

Excellent communication via phone, text message and email?

Provide complete transparency of roofing procedure? i.e. folder
of procedures, warranties, and roof replacement processes?

Do they have employee standards i.e. No smoking, are respectful
and display correct behavior onsite?

Do they run through the quote and scope of works for a
complete understanding of the works?

Do they organise all co-ordination of licensed trades for the
roofing works?

Do they provide service reconnection of any electrical wiring,
solar panels, and hot water systems with licensed trades?

Maintain a safe and tidy workplace and remove all rubbish in a
timely manner?

Do they provide before and after photos or videos of previous
jobs?

Provide a completion folder with all required documents at
completion of works with photos and drone footage?

Do they have branding and a website?
